SiliFlex Ribbon Cable
SiliFlex ribbon cable is individually insulated with Silicone rubber, laid parallel and fused in an extremely flexible flat ribbon form. The flat configuration of SiliFlex ribbon cable distributes the mechanical load over the total width of the cable and allows for improved heat dissipation.
The ribbon wires need no separation prior to termination. However, if applications require separation, components can be separated while maintaining the electrical, physical and mechanical features of each component in the flat ribbon cable.
Calmont offers many construction variations for SiliFlex ribbon cable. For example, a combination of gauge sizes and types are available, such as single insulated conductors, shielded and jacketed wires, twisted shielded and jacketed or unshielded pairs and triads.
