Taping
Taping is applied as a separator or a binder for wire and cable products. Binding is typically applied when using multiple cabling components together. A wide tape can help maintain the roundness of a cable. When used as a separator, it is applied beneath the jacket to decrease adhesion between the jacket and the core. When a product needs to be able to switch from one jacket to another, taping makes the process seamless.
